Process Engineering
Good business process design is fundamental to achieving high performance.
Unfortunately there is still a widespread belief that processes mean
bureaucracy. In our view good processes mean efficient and effective
operation.
We help you to define, document and operate excellent processes
and ensure that they are properly maintained, through process ownership,
business process management and process governance.
- As-Is Process Mapping
A good understanding of the as-is process
is the foundation for process improvement. In many cases process
documentation is out of date or non-existent. Through workshops and
interviews we capture what people really do in an easy to use format.
- Process Analysis
The key benefits to be obtained from process
engineering are derived from a good understanding of inefficiencies
in current processes. Our process analysis enables you to identify
potential areas for improvement.
- To-Be Process Design
We work with your users to develop efficient, effective
and simple processes that are integrated and easy to maintain. We believe
that if a process is good it will get used, if it is used it will be maintained,
and if it is maintained it will continue to be used, thus reinforcing the cycle.
- Gap & Impact Assessment
We assess the gap between 'as-is' and 'to-be'
in order to define in detail the differences. This is used to drive the process
training and documentation updates.
- Process Documentation
Our process documentation is designed for business
users, rather than process analysts, using tools that allow them to be maintained
by the business process owner. We undertake process mapping and authoring
of procedures and work instructions.
