Free seminar offers a path to operational excellence

Delegates from leading UK companies attended a free seminar outlining the pivotal role that business process improvement plays in enhancing operational success last week.
The event, which took place in London, was jointly hosted by SkillSet Consulting and Pallas Athena and was held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 7th April 2011.
The breakfast seminar addressed some of the key issues and challenges facing organisations in today’s business environment. Executive speakers from SkillSet Consulting, Pallas Athena and Bolton Council demonstrated the challenges of improving business processes and the business-benefits of process mining. Delegates heard evidence of the huge savings made by Bolton Council’s social care department, who were tasked with identifying major savings across the organisation over a three year period. Two years into their bid to radically improve cost-efficiency, the Council has already reduced costs by over £1.5m.
