Knowledge management

Knowledge Management

Whilst most people and organisations have a good conceptual understanding of the value of knowledge, few companies are able to leverage it successfully.

We help you to design and implement focussed knowledge solutions, which, in general, need not be expensive but do need effort to get them embedded into everyday use.

If you already have Knowledge Management tools, processes or networks in place we will build upon these.

We provide consultancy to define requirements and complete solutions, including selection of suitable Knowledge Management tools or systems.

We provide implementation resources to undertake training, coaching, facilitation, knowledge capture, authoring and cataloguing.

Four Step Approach

  • Specify what knowledge would help people do their jobs more effectively.
  • Identify the source of the knowledge.
  • Define the requirements for a Knowledge Management mechanism to convey the knowledge from the source to where it is needed.
  • Obtain, adapt or implement a knowledge solution to meet the requirements. This may be anything from a weekly meeting to an organisation wide document management system with contextual searching.
